Research Power Hour - 8AM-9AM
$1,200 will be distributed to the research entity (CURS, GCC, IMMCG, Translational Research Bldg.) that receives the highest number of unique donors between 8:00am-9:00am.

$1,200 will be distributed to the school/college/unit’s scholarship fund that receives the highest number of unique donors between 9:00am-10:00am.

Student Experience Power Hour - 11AM-12PM
$1,200 will be distributed to the student experience entity (Augustus the Mascot, Greater University Fund, Housing, Libraries, MVS, Mr. & Miss Augusta University, Study Abroad, Tree Restoration) that receives the highest number of unique donors between 11:00am - 12:00pm.

Arts & Community Power Hour – 1PM-2PM
$1,200 will be distributed to the arts & community program/unit (Byrd Gallery, Community Engagement, Guardhouse Museum, HJCMS, Literacy Center, Maxwell Theatre, Tree Restoration) that receives the highest number of unique donors between 1:00pm - 2:00pm.

Athletics Power Hour – 3PM-4PM
$1,200 will be distributed to the AU sports team that receives the highest number of unique donors between 3:00pm-4:00pm.

$1,200 will be distributed to the parent & family initiative (Healthy Grandparents, Open Paws, PFA, Counseling, Public Safety, Student Emergency Fund, Study Abroad) that receives the highest number of unique donors between 6:00pm - 7:00pm.

Create Your Own Match or Challenge!
Anyone can create match or challenge gifts at any time during Augusta Gives. These can be created for the overall campaign or to a specific area or unit.
- Matching Gifts - A matching gift is a donor’s promise to match gifts as they come in, usually dollar-for-dollar, up to a set amount. It can match per donor or per dollar up to the maximum set amount. Ex: "For a limited time, every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000."
- Challenge Gifts - A challenge gift is a donor’s commitment that is unlocked only if others give. It sets a goal (dollars or donors) and motivates people to help “meet the challenge.” Ex: "A generous donor has pledged $10,000 that will be unlocked once we reach our fundraising goal."
