Military Resource Center

Over 800 military connected students have chosen Augusta University as part of their academic journey to complete their next “mission”: a college degree. In addition to providing support for educational benefits, the Office of Military and Veteran Services offers resources and programming to support academic success. Your gift will directly support a population of students who have given so much to all of us. The Military Resource Center (MRC) is a space exclusively for military students. There is a computer lab with free printing and a lounge area. This dedicated space is where military students can connect with others like themselves, making friends, enjoying camaraderie, and making or receiving support. The space also has information on campus and community resources, such as internships, volunteer opportunities, student support areas, and military student organization meetings and events.  

Military and Veteran Services Events

Engagement is a proven indicator of persistence and success in pursing a college degree. The Office of Military and Veteran Services hosts events specific for Augusta University’s military population. Events include a Veterans Day Networking Event, where on campus and community veterans are provided a continental breakfast while they forge connections with those who best understand their journey; or a Military Women’s Event during Women’s History Month to recognize the amazing strides and achievements made by female veterans; or a Military Child Networking event so military children can connect with others who have served alongside their parents. Your financial support of Military and Veteran Services events helps bring Augusta University’s military populations together for engagement and, in return, academic success.
