Investing in Excellence by Supporting the Next Generation of Endodontic Specialists

The Weller, Kimbrough and Loushine Endodontics Residency Support Fund was established to provide perpetual support for residents in the Dental College of Georgia's Endodontics Residency Program.

More Information:

The Department of Endodontics at the Dental College of Georgia has a longstanding tradition of excellence in education, clinical care, and professional leadership. Graduates of the program have gone on to make significant contributions to the specialty of endodontics, serving patients and advancing the profession throughout Georgia and across the nation. Maintaining this level of excellence requires ongoing investment in the training and development of future endodontists.

With only 55 endodontic residency programs currently operating in the United States, competition for the most talented and promising residents is significant. To continue attracting exceptional candidates and providing the highest quality educational experience, the Department of Endodontics must secure additional resources that enhance resident training, support innovative learning opportunities, and strengthen the overall residency program.

To meet this need, Drs. Bob Loushine and Manny Ngoh are leading an effort to build the Weller, Kimbrough and Loushine Endodontics Residency Support Fund. Their goal is to raise $250,000 over the next three to five years, creating a permanent endowment that will provide approximately $10,000 annually in support of endodontic residents. This lasting source of funding will help ensure future residents have access to the educational resources and experiences necessary to excel in their specialty training.

Supporters can join this important initiative through one of three leadership giving levels:

  • Anterior Level - $1,000
  • Premolar Level - $1,500
  • Molar Level - $2,000

Every gift helps strengthen the future of endodontic education at the Dental College of Georgia and creates lasting impact for generations of residents to come.

Fund Goal:

Earnings from the endowment will enhance educational opportunities, support resident training, and help the department attract and develop outstanding future specialists. Through the generosity of alumni, faculty, friends, and supporters, this fund will ensure that the program continues to prepare highly skilled endodontists who will serve patients and advance the profession for years to come.
