The Health Services program within Augusta University's College of Allied Health Sciences prepares students for careers in healthcare administration, management, and related healthcare professions. Through a comprehensive curriculum, students develop knowledge and skills in healthcare delivery, leadership, cultural competency, global health, bioethics, research, innovation, and data-informed decision-making. Graduates are equipped to lead within an ever-evolving healthcare environment and improve the health of the communities they serve.
With nearly 400 students currently enrolled, the Health Services program plays a vital role in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals. Students are drawn to the program's flexibility, diverse career pathways, and strong foundation in healthcare systems and administration. As demand for skilled healthcare leaders continues to grow, providing financial support to these students has never been more important.
Despite its size and impact, the Health Services program remains one of the few programs within the College of Allied Health Sciences without dedicated scholarship support for students. We are looking for support to help establish the FIRST Health Services Student Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance to deserving and qualified students. Scholarships can help offset the costs of tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses, allowing students to focus on their studies and professional development while reducing financial stress.

Our goal is to establish meaningful scholarship support for Health Services students and create opportunities that will benefit current and future generations of learners. We invite Health Services alumni, friends, faculty, and community supporters to help launch and grow this effort. Every gift, regardless of size, helps expand access to education, support student success, and strengthen the future healthcare workforce. Together, we can invest in students who will go on to lead, innovate, and improve healthcare in communities across Georgia and beyond.
